Evergreen Cypress is about nurturing women and girls to have a closer relationship with God by spending beautiful time in his Word — specifically with Bible study journals — and teaching girls/women about Him.
Whether you are younger or more mature in your faith, and whether you are weary or full of encouragement, this is your invitation to stay strong in God’s Word and grow closer to your Evergreen Cypress.

LIGHT journals
LIGHT (Living In God’s Hope & Truth) journals study through a book of the Bible, a few verses at a time. They are designed for women and teen girls, for personal or group study, and in many different ways! The goal is to take a look at Scripture a little at a time.
Radiant journals
Radiant journals study through a chapter of the Bible. They are designed for pre-teen girls, specifically in a weekly group setting. The goal is to begin studying God’s Word in a bite-size way and to start establishing their eternal relationship with Him.
everseeking journals
Everseeking journals study through a passage or theme of the Bible. They are designed for women and girls, also for personal or group study. These journals originally belong to our monthly subscription and it’s all about seeking God one step at a time!

Everseeking mailers are sent out around the week of the 15th of the month. This is so you can have the next month’s journal ready to go! For example, to start your November study, you’d need your journal in October — “October mailer, November journal.”

The journal has a different design and study theme every month but the same format: 20 days of the main study and 10 optional days of further study. This is to give us time to catch up if we get behind in the month, but encourages being in God’s Word daily as the ultimate goal. Every month is a new and fresh start!

The Evergreen Journal Library
If you are homeschooling your girl, you have the chance to share with her the deepest knowledge that can’t be found in any textbook, but that lasts for eternity. And we want to encourage you in sharing the truth in love! Find out more =(everseeking: homeschool edition).
For some of us, sharing God’s Word is a simple and quiet. It may be a coffee date with a friend, whether she is a sister in Christ or searching for him. Building the relationship of trust allows us to talk about the most important things. Enjoy using one of our journals to study together! More to come.
There is a beauty in studying God’s Word together with other women. God knew we needed each other as the church. And moreover, he has given us the ability to come together as women of God to lift each other up in similar struggles and to rejoice together with similar victories in Christ. Purpose
“O Ephraim, what have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like an evergreen cypress; from me comes your fruit.” Hosea 14:8
Being with God is like nothing else we could ever know. He is what our soul desires. He has nothing to do with empty promises of idols (why do we hold to them?) but instead he gives us life — abundantly (John 10:10).
God alone answers us and cares for us. He is our evergreen cypress. And when we spend time with him, we are home.
