Evergreen Cypress is all about nurturing women, teen girls, pre-teen girls to find a closer relationship with God, which comes by spending beautiful time in his Word.
Whether you are younger or more mature in your faith, and whether you are weary or full of encouragement, we invite you to join us in seeking to daily be at home with the Bible and at home with God.

Everseeking is a subscription that delivers a new Bible study journal (with matching extras) to your doorstep every month! We want to be women who seek God first (Matthew 6:33) and always (Psalm 27:4). And this encouragement for us to do just that!

Everseeking mailers are sent out around the 15th of the month. This is so you can have the next month’s journal ready to go! For example, to start your November study, you’d need your journal in October — “October mailer, November journal.”

The journal has a different design and study theme every month but the same format: 20 days of the main study and 10 optional days of deeper study. This is to give you time to catch up if you get behind in the month, but encouraging being in God’s Word daily as the ultimate goal. Every month is a new and fresh start!

LIGHT group and homeschooling.
Teen girls are seeking God!
We created LIGHT group to be a spiritual haven for teen girls in our home congregation to talk about the Bible and to see how we can live for God.
And then we gathered homeschooling materials for mothers to share the Bible with their girls consistently at home!
In both and either case, our goal is for these girls to know God (John 17:3) and keep their lamps burning for Him (Luke 12:35).
Homeschooling

A LIGHT study goes through a book of the Bible with a guided journal, teacher notes/discussion questions, and a pacing guide for 18 weeks.

Everseeking (homeschool edition) studies a different theme or passage of Scripture every month, with daily discussion questions and a pacing calendar for the month

Purpose
“O Ephraim, what have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like an evergreen cypress; from me comes your fruit.” Hosea 14:8
Being with God is like nothing else we could ever know. He is what our soul desires. He has nothing to do with empty promises of idols (why do we hold to them?) but instead he gives us life — abundantly (John 10:10).
God alone answers us and cares for us. He is our evergreen cypress. And when we spend time with him, we are home.
