January 21 - 27
This is where we started. We wanted to connect with the teen girls in our home congregation so we could be there for them, to mentor them to live for God. But we weren’t sure how do even start!
Five years later, by the grace of God, we are mentoring and hosting the pre-teen/teen girls at our home congregation in a unique way – and constantly amazed at what God has been doing through it. We want to share our story and process with you so maybe in turn, you can be a source of godly encouragement for the teen girls in your life!
So join us for the week of January 21-27 as we gather together as women of Christ and brainstorm of how to guide these girls in God’s Truth (Acts 8:31) and help them to keep their lamps burning for God (Luke 12:35).

The best way to share this with you is to give you the roadmap to the journey.
There are five main steps to creating a spiritual haven for these girls: committing, building, preparing, sharing, and nurturing. We’ll talk through each step in the FB lives below (replays available). And each step matches a section in your Teacher Guide Workbook!
So get ready to embark on the journey and brainstorm on how we can make this happen for the pre-teen/teen girls God has placed in our lives!
Sunday, January 21

This is setting the stage.
It's an important step. And because of that, we don't want to do it lightly. While all have the same end-goal, the commitment each of us would make will be different. This is knowing the why behind it all.
Goal: to put why we’re doing this into perspective in God’s kingdom
Monday, January 22

This second step of journey is how to build our team with other like-minded women in Christ who want to build up these girls in God!
We all have different gifts. Yours may be teaching, hosting, or encouraging (or a combination!).
Goal: how to use your gift and gather other women to be present for these girls
Tuesday, January 23

Now that we’ve thought through building our team, it’s time to prepare.
Whichever role we’re in, we need to have a plan when we get together with these girls.
Goal: how to prepare to guide them in God’s Word
Thursday, January 24

Then we share! It’s heartwarmingly beautiful to share the Truth with these girls in love and watch them thinking through it, sometimes wrestling through it, but then have the lightbulb moments of how true it is for them and for life with God.
Goal: how to share what you’ve prepared and give them a safe space for them to ask questions and talk about life in God
Saturday, January 26

And finally we nurture. This comes in different ways, but the main goal is to show these girls that they’re not a project. We are committed to showing up for them, to help them along their walk with God, and to be a trustworthy mentor who will guide them to the Truth in love.

Who is this for?
This coaching week is specifically for women in Christ who want to mentor pre-teen and/or teen girls in an intentional way. Whether you want to teach, host, or just encourage the girls, this is for you!
What does it look like when I join?
By joining, you will be given access to an login area, given access to our private FB group we’re we’ll be going live at the dates above, AND you will receive a physical copy of the Teacher Guide Workbook in the mail!
