The Teacher’s LIGHT membership is for women of the church who want to teach the truth and love of the Bible to teen girls / women— to keep all our lamps burning for God.

It’s a process.
In walking along the journey, we don’t walk alone. There are others to encourage us. But we also should encourage others.
As we solidify our walk with God, we are able to help teen girls / women (Seekers) to press on along the journey.
The process of helping others along the journey will be everchanging with joys and difficulties. Some days the Seekers’ lights grow dim and other days they burn bright.
But our desire to help guide the teen girls / women to stay strong in God is a mission, because we believe in the importance of the journey to find Home in God.
To keep their lamps burning.
When I see a light bulb moment for a teen girl because she understands the Bible, it’s worth everything.
It’s a beautiful moment. Understanding the Bible means so much more than just knowledge, because that knowledge leads to eternal life in knowing God (John 17:3). And knowing God means everything.
Being a teen girl isn’t easy. Most of us remember those years, each with different experiences, but all with a sense of trying to find our identity. And the years into womanhood are really no different, rather on a different scale, as we try to find our purpose.
Without the understanding of the Bible to know and have a relationship with God, identity and purpose comes from the world around us— which leaves us empty.
This is why I believe first seeking to know the Truth and then resolving to guide teen girls and women to understand it is so important. And that’s why, three years ago, we started LIGHT groups.
I am excited to share our own journey and our own process with you. We have loved every moment watching “our” teen girls learn about Christ and even women grow in deeper knowledge of him. And we pray that this will help you encourage other teen girls and women in the Bible and in finding Home in God.

LIGHT journal teacher notes.
For each section/couple of pages of a LIGHT journal, the Teacher’s LIGHT membership gives you the additional teacher notes to go with it! These are suggested comments and talking points for teen girls / women that come in the form of PDF downloads and are available as guidelines to help in your study to prepare in the time of teaching.
Additional teacher live.
When we’re trying to encourage others, we need encouragement ourselves— in the mission to help Seekers and in standing strong seeking the Truth in God ourselves. In addition to having access to the LIGHT membership live, the teacher’s live is for you specifically:
- to encourage teachers in the process of creating a haven
- to support in how to teach Bible to teen girls / women
- to answer questions about the teaching materials

FAQs
Is this to teach teen girls or women (or both)?
Both! While most of our experience is with teen girls, we have also seen these materials work well for women of all ages.
Who is the LIGHT Teacher’s membership for?
The Teacher membership is for any women who want to guide teen girls or women in the Bible. It is a wondrous responsibility. The two most important things you’ll need are 1) a dedication to truly studying and seeking the Truth in the Bible and 2) a heart for wanting teen girls / women to deeply know God.
What is “LIGHT group”?
Every 2-3 weeks, we meet with our teen girls to teach and guide them in the what Bible says and what it means in our lives. From the beginning, we’ve called it LIGHT group :)
Which journals have teacher notes?
Since the Teacher’s LIGHT membership starts in summer of 2022, the teacher notes will be released in the membership a year behind LIGHT journal releases:
As of right now, Ephesians teacher notes will be available for this fall 2022. Luke will be available for spring 2023 and will continue to follow as the LIGHT journals are released.
Why is $30 the lower price?
This is our first opening! Since you are here at the beginning, we’d like to offer it at the discount of $30. This will only be available when the doors open this summer for the first time and will then only be available at the non-discounted price thereafter.
Can I access previous courses?
Yes! Any materials released for previous studies (teacher notes, Bible study videos, etc) will be available in the membership.
