How can I use these journals?
FAQs
How can I study this individually?
Pick a journal and enjoy studying through it consistently! Every spread (left and right pages) are designed to easily study through one a day or more. It helps you read through what the Bible is saying and think about how to live it in your own life.
How can I study this with a group?
We originally created these journals as a group study. Depending on how often your group meets, you can study through a chapter or study at your own pace individually as above and join to go through it together! It literally puts everyone on the same page, each having already looked through what the Bible says, and it allows for conversation rooted in God’s Word.
How long does the journal take to go through?
It depends! If you complete a spread a day, it takes roughly six months to go through. Otherwise, you can determine how long your study will last based on how much you complete at a time.
How often does a new journal released?
We are currently releasing a new LIGHT and Radiant journal roughly every six months. We actually make these for our girls in our home congregation and go through it with them 2 years ahead of releasing them to you! After we’ve edited and polished them up a bit, we then announce the newest journal around every August and every January.
Is there anything that accompanies it to help study?
Yes! Most of our released journals have an accompanying online study. We’ve worked hard to assemble everything that we have done in teaching and made them into a complete package for you to feel like you’re not alone in studying or to help you teach through it yourself! A study includes videos talking through each spread, calendar/schedule options specific to the journal (how to pace yourself), journaling prompts, and cute phone wallpapers with verses from the book of study! For the teacher versions, there are additional teacher notes, discussion questions, and other ways to help you teach through the book of the Bible.
Does LIGHT stand for something?
Yes! It’s all about Living In God’s Hope & Truth. No matter the age or season of life you’re in, God’s Word is for you! It will guide you in the Truth of what God says which lets us live in infinite hope.
